Unchanged When Exhumed

Unchanged When Exhumed by LoVid

Building upon their work that renews appreciation of the physical environment through a digital lens, LoVid, guest performers and their newly developed smartphone application, iParade 2: "Unchanged When Exhumed" will lead participants on the route of Hamilton Grange's historical move around Harlem. Using locative video that transforms one's surroundings into a virtual set, participants may graze with a hungry tree, safari in jungles between residential homes and the street, and climb hills to uncover an emerald treasure.

This walk holds 15 people.

"The project is a playful, intertextual way to experience the atmosphere and the historic anomalies of a neighborhood that I, despite having had lived in Harlem for many years, never visited before." Rhizome 5/31/12
