Traces

We all leave traces in the world--from text messages to trash to footsteps to legacies. But how do these traces impact our lives? Dakota Sica will lead participants in a walk over the Manhattan Bridge in search of these answers. The group will use rope to measure their own traces, cellphones to add heartfelt ones, and sounds to erase them all. Together, participants will retrace their footsteps and dance where they see them collide.
This walk holds 8 people and is part of "The Walk as Poem," a course taught by Todd Shalom in the Writing Program at Pratt Institute.
