Self in the City

Self in the City by Andrea Racine

In this walk by Andrea Racine, participants will explore their inner self while living in a metropolitan area, where one’s space tends to fade in amongst the crowds. The group will look into places of spirituality and how it manifests in a city, and whether it is found predominantly in areas that are overtly religious, or places that represent another form of solace. From the peace and beauty found in Central Park to the parallel found in religious institutions, where does one feel the most in-tune with themselves and their inner being?

This walk holds 6 people and is part of "The Walk as Poem", a course taught by Todd Shalom in the Writing Program at Pratt Institute.
