The Long Island City-based arts organization, Flux Factory, has agreed to fiscally sponsor Elastic City for the 2012 season. We dig their work, so it's an honor.



Elastic City has entered into a collaborative partnership with Residency Unlimited. Residency Unlimited artists are offered the possibility of creating new walks with Elastic City during the course of their residency. Residency Unlimited explores new residency possibilities that go beyond the conventional circumscribed studio program model, and that range from fostering collaborative partnerships to engaging with artists whose practice is not necessarily studio-based.

Elastic City has partnered with numerous organizations to co-present its walks and ways, including The Abrons Art Center, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Flea, Friends of the High Line, Le Petit Versailles, Museum of the City of New York, NY Art Book Fair, Open House NY, Pratt Institute, Printed Matter, Residency Unlimited, SculptureCenter, Wave Hill and Urban Design Week.
